The 2013 edition of the Hip hop awards, popularly known as The Headies, will take place on December 26, the management of Smooth Productions, organisers of the awards, has said.
The award, now in its eighth year, has grown to become a yardstick of sorts for measuring the success of Nigerian hip hop artistes.
This year’s theme tagged ‘It’s About to Begin’ will continue in the tradition of rewarding artistes, music producers, music video directors who have excelled within the year in review and honouring legends who have contributed to the music industry and left a strong legacy for future generations, according to the management.
