All is set for the 10th edition of the Channel O Awards, which has been scheduled to take place at the Walter Sisulu Square, South Africa on November 30, 2013.
The 2013 award, which will be hosted by Nigerian artiste Naeto C and Aka will also witness performances from other Nigerian acts including PSquare, 2face Idibia, Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy, Chidinma, KCee, Wizkid and Jesse Jagz.
Other African acts to perform at the event include Kenyan Victoria Kimani, Zimbabwe’s Buffalo Souljah, Mafikizolo, Fuse ODG, P Unit, Sarkodie, Sauti Sol, Radio and Weasel, Kaakie, The Soil, Khuli Chana, DJ Malvado, DJ Ganyani and others.
The Channel O Music Video Awards, also known as Spirit of Africa Music Video Awards, are Pan-African music awards organised by South Africa -based Channel O television channel. The awards were first held in 2003 under the name Reel Music Video Awards. Since 2005, the awards have been held annually. The winners are voted by Channel O’s viewers across the continent.
