Is It True That Fatai Rolling Dollar Just Passed On?
It's so sad to
announce the death of the veteran highlife musician Fatai
Rolling Dollar, he was born 22nd July 1926, Rolling Dollar was known for his
verve and dexterity on the guitar. His zest for life and energy, even in
old age. The music icon in
Nigeria, according to what a family source confirmed, died in the early hours
of today, Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at his house. He was recently
discharged from the Almadiya Hospital around Abule-Egba, Lagos after he was
taken there for treatment. He learnt he complained of leg pains which was why
he was taken there for treatment. He returned to Nigeria from the USA in
May 2013 after a tour to the Uncle Sam's country.He is survived by three
wives, including a German and 16 children. May his soul rest in peace, amen.
