The 8th season of Big Brother Africa branded ‘The Chase’ kicked off yesterday May 26, 2013 with a Live show in South Africa. The Nigerian Nollywood Artistes precisely the Marvin CrewWhich includes Don Jazzy, Wande Coal and D’Prince as well as SA’s Pop music group, Mafikizolo ‘Khona’ featuring Uhurun did their best to deliver a wonderful performance.The launch was hosted by usual suspect IK Osakioduwa who came in riding in on a power bike! He was joined by SA actress and comedian Tumi Morake and Kenya’s comedian Churchill The 28 contestants will be staying in two different houses – 14 in the Diamond house and the other 14 in the Ruby house. Nigeria is being represented by  model Ada Beverly Osu and Melvin Oduah; first runner up in the Gulder Ultimate Search VI, and first runner up at Mr Nigeria 2011.
